Chapter: 1639
Keilani reflected on the details. Since Sabrina was unsurprised by Blayze's visit, chances were that Sabrina orchestrated this whole thing to make her lose face. Keilani seethed with resentment. She wouldn't let it slide!
Keilani went straight to the next chamber. “My apologies. Happy now?" she spat at Sabrina, her tone dripping with arrogance.
Sabrina appeared perplexed.
"Don't feign ignorance! Didn't you tell Bella to hint at your new job in front of them? All for the sake of extracting an apology from me, huh?" Keilani sneered.
Bella's previous intention to defend Sabrina was evident. Sabrina flatly retorted, "And if so? Wasn't it the truth? What now? Do you fear your misdeeds coming to Light?"
"You! Just wait and see!" Keilani seethed, glaring at Sabrina before storming out.
Sabrina and Bella exchanged a glance.
Sabrina remained puzzled. Bella, on the other side, seemed to have an epiphany. The culprit who pinned the necklace theft on Sabrina was none other than Keilani. Keilani, indeed, was an idiot.
“Sabrina, I regret how things transpired. I should have asked Keilani to apologize to you. For Blayze's sake, consider letting go," William entered the room, expressing regret.
“Apology acknowledged. William, feel free to come back and rejoin them," Sabrina responded, her demeanor indifferent.
“Alright guys, have fun." William left.
"Keilani exhibited no sincerity. Turns out she framed you. She's as vile and foolish as ever!" Bella lamented.
"Did she have a history of something like this?" Sabrina asked.
"She was far worse. Arrogant, stubborn, self-centered, envious, and petty. Using her status, she bullied anyone in her path." Bella had a trove of tales illustrating Keilani's faults.
"In middle school, she disfigured a girl merely for that innocent girl having received compliments from a boy she fancied outside the school. During a school event, I outshone her in a performance, so she put a nail in my shoe. Luckily, I caught on. Despite her brother's restraints in recent years, she thrives on causing chaos,"
Bella divulged.
Naturally, Bella had exacted her revenge at that time. Thus began their rivalry. Upon their convergence in the same space, an inevitable storm brewed between them.
“Her arrogance knows no bounds. Have her parents never wielded discipline?" Sabrina thought aloud upon hearing this, her heart lamenting for the girl shunned by fate.
“Her father's consumed by business, and her mother's ailing. All servants are afraid of her. She has been becoming more and more arrogant until her brother returned." Bella snorted and ground her teeth. “But you need not fear her. You're my friend. I'll protect you. If she tries to touch you, my protection will intensify."
"Gratitude, Bella. You've been acquainted for quite a while?" Sabrina inquired.
