Chapter: 1685
It made sense, but Sabrina was reluctant to get on board with Bettie's plan.
Sabrina changed the subject. "Let's not talk about it now. I only mentioned it because I struck a deal with Lance. Please forgive me."
When Bettie learned from Sabrina that another photo of Lance with another woman was taken, she felt disgusted. "I don't blame you. You did the right thing. He deserves what's coming to him!"
“If he approaches you, pretend you don't know. I'm scared he'll retaliate against me."
"Okay."
They continued chit-chatting about various topics, and Bettie finally said, "Well, I'll let you get back to work. And don't forget to hire someone even more handsome than Tyrone. Don't blow your cover right away."
"I'll do my best." Sabrina realized she needed to find a place to hire a fake boyfriend and wondered if such a place existed.
"You'll try your best? No, you have to do it. Don't bother coming to me if you don't do it!"
Bettie's comment stunned Sabrina. After thinking it over, Sabrina didn't want to risk losing her best friend, so she decided that Bella would probably be able to help her find someone to do the job.
Sabrina confided in Bella that her ex-husband might make an unwelcome appearance. She wanted to hire someone to pose as her boyfriend to deter him.
That evening, Bella took Sabrina to a discreet bar.
The atmosphere in the bar was quiet, and most of the patrons were female.
ALL the waiters were male, tall, and attractive, giving Sabrina various options.
Bella selected five young men to join them. Each had a unique charm, and all of them were handsome. Sabrina found it challenging to choose one.
"I'll have them introduce themselves, and then you can choose one," suggested Bella.
"Hold on! But aren't they employees here? I can hire them?" Sabrina asked, puzzled.
Before Bella could respond, one of the men winked at Sabrina with a grin. “Absolutely! As long as you've got the cash, we're at your service for anything."
Sabrina found him intriguing and thought he would be suitable.
“What's your name? How old are you?"
"Call me Richard. I'm twenty-six. What can I do for you?"
