Chapter: 1794
Awaiting Kira there, in the shadows, was the waiter. He promptly handed her a sealed glass bottle containing a few broken pieces stained with Sabrina's blood.
"Are you certain this is her blood?"
"It's hers. If you doubt me, you can check the surveillance footage," the waiter assured Kira, an eager glint in his eye.
Kira offered a cryptic smile in response, offering no further comment.
Instead, she retrieved a card from her pocket and handed it to the waiter. "No password required."
With the glass bottle safely tucked into her pocket, Kira turned on her heel and left.
"Start the car first." As Sabrina settled into the plush interior of the car, she addressed the driver, "Drive out and check if there's a clinic nearby."
The driver acknowledged her request with a nod, his hand reaching for the ignition to start the engine.
Despite the bustling atmosphere outside, Sabrina couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment. Today was a good day. The wedding celebration held a lot of people.
Due to the festivities, the streets were congested and crowded with numerous vehicles around the hotel.
The driver maneuvered skillfully, albeit slowly, along the crowded road as the car inched forward. They spent about ten minutes on the road before any progress.
While the car gradually made its way, Sabrina took advantage of the lull to inspect her injuries. Her gaze lingered on the most severe wound situated on her shin. It prompted a faint crease in her brow.
However, her attention was abruptly diverted as a dull ache manifested in her lower abdomen, causing beads of perspiration to dot her forehead. Though the discomfort wasn't severe, it was enough to elicit concern.
“Wait, let's go to some grand hospital," she uttered weakly, leaning back against the seat. She'd better have a check-up.
Promptly, the driver altered course toward the nearest hospital.
Upon reaching the hospital, Sabrina explained her situation to the doctor. With a concerned gaze, the doctor scrutinized her condition before posing a crucial question, “When was your last menstruation?"
"About twenty days ago?" Sabrina responded thoughtfully, "But it was a very light flow, and it stopped on the second day.
"Was it just bleeding, not menstruation?"
After a moment of contemplation, Sabrina conceded, "That's possible."
Sabrina remembered that she bled because she had made love with Tyrone. She bled after sex... Could it indicate a gynecological disease?
