Chapter: 1891
With over thirty villas, each spanning five floors and sprawling across six hundred square meters, River Mansion epitomized luxury living. From plush bedrooms to recreational spaces, it had it all: game rooms, gyms, bars... Plus, each villa came complete with an elevator, a hot spring pool, and a quaint garden.
Six glass walls were used in the living room's décor to guarantee enough natural Light. The host could take in the lovely surroundings while lounging on the living room sofa. On the balconies of the second and third floors, there was also an outdoor bar.
From what Bettie gathered, a villa at River Mansion would set someone back a cool hundred million. She was taken aback. "Are you rolling in cash?"
"I'm not swimming in cash. Planning to take out a loan," Lance confessed, sporting a grin. "How about you get Sabrina and ask for a sweet deal?"
“Forget it. Sabrina's still sour with Tyrone. Can't ask her to pull strings," Bettie dismissed the idea.
"Is there a tiff still brewing between them?"
“Yeah, Tyrone has a love child. Big mess. Can't expect them to kiss and make up easy."
Lance said, "As far as I heard, Sabrina is cool with the kid. Tyrone didn't intentionally withhold information from her and was unaware of it before now."
"Yep. But the kid is still Tyrone's flesh and blood. Keilani pops by now and then, saying she wants to see the kid. I can't blame Sabrina for feeling some type of way."
As they continued chatting, Bettie couldn't help but throw Lance a suspicious glance. “Are you hiding any love children of your own?"
Lance chuckled, shaking his head. "Where do you come up with this stuff? I'm just curious about them. I wonder how Sabrina managed to forgive Tyrone for cheating, yet..."
"Sabrina's expecting. And you know how Keilani operates. She's a handful. Mr. Nelson's got her back. If Sabrina reconciles with Tyrone, Keilani's bound to lash out."
“Mr. Nelson opposes Keilani being married to Tyrone. Even if Keilani doesn't want to give up, Mr. Nelson will prevent her from being close to Tyrone as long as Sabrina remarries Tyrone."
“Mr. Nelson might try to stop Keilani. But can he rein her in Bettie scoffed. “Let's keep Sabrina's pregnancy under wraps. Don't want Keilani to stir up trouble."
"Okay." Lance lowered his head and nodded.
"Pick me up at nine tomorrow morning. We'll go house hunting." Bettie changed the topic.
“Sure.”
Off in a corner not far away, Alice smoothed down her hair. So, Lance and Bettie were scoping out wedding venues. Marriage was on the cards, huh? It seemed Lance hadn't clued in the Wilson clan yet since Keilani wasn't in the loop. Did Lance predict his father's objection and decide to tie the knot first?
Alice clenched her fists. Sabrina was pregnant, fouling up Keilani's schemes of being with Tyrone.
With nobody supporting Keilani's pursuit of Tyrone and the slim chances of Keilani being with Tyrone, Alice felt it was time to take advantage of the situation and enlist Keilani's help. With determination, she ate dinner by herself with her head down.
