Chapter: 1998
Rita, not wanting to discuss her connection with Sabrina publicly, did the same.
Horace nodded at the group and at the mention of Bella, he said meaningfully, “Collen, you're really fortunate to have such a nice girlfriend."
Collen was about to respond when Horace switched topics and addressed Tyrone, “It's quite a surprise to see you here in Philade. What are the odds?"
Tyrone returned his look and acted to finally recognize Horace. “Mr. Fowler, I apologize. I didn't recognize you just now. That was rude of me."
Horace was at a loss for words but shrugged it off. "It's fine. We've only met once, after all."
Collen, ever the host, chimed in, "I had no idea Horace knew Tyrone. Let's have dinner together. Horace, Rita, please join us. It's on me."
"Sure." Horace didn't waste any time and quickly grabbed Rita's hand to sit down.
Collen, caught off guard by their haste, hurriedly asked the waiter to bring two more sets of tableware.
Actually, Collen was being nice. If he had known, he wouldn't have offered so eagerly!
Sabrina, annoyed by Collen's invitation, silently cursed, "Damn it!"
She was upset because Rita ended up sitting next to her.
Tyrone was feeling down since Horace sat next to him.
Sabrina exchanged a sympathetic look with Tyrone.
However, Horace seemed oblivious. He leaned toward Tyrone and asked, "Mr. Blakely, are you here in Philade on business?"
Tyrone shook his head. "No, it's a personal visit."
"How Long are you staying?"
"I'm heading back tomorrow."
"I've heard about the Blakely Group..."
Tyrone fell silent.
As Horace brought up business, Rita joined the conversation, praising Tyrone as young and promising.
