Chapter: 2106
"No, I saw firsthand how he was with Galilea," Sabrina said as she picked another potato and placed it in the plastic bag, sighing.
"Plus, Cesar has always been good to me, treating me as his own granddaughter. On one side is Tyrone, his grandson, and on the other is me. I couldn't make things hard for him."
Later, when Sabrina and Tyrone were set up, Tyrone and Galilea had broken up for a long time, and Cesar had only then decided to bring Sabrina and Tyrone together.
“You're right. I've made up my mind to follow your advice!" Bettie declared.
Bettie planned that when Lance returned, she would focus on enjoying herself first. Plus, Lance was such a dashing guy. Even if she ended up having his child, it wouldn't be a loss. She would deal with everything else later. Anyway, she had no intention of going to Philade with Lance. She wouldn't leave her mom.
“I'm going to hang up now. I need to settle the bill," Sabrina told Bettie before hanging up and grabbing the potatoes to weigh them.
Suddenly, Sabrina froze, her expression stiffening.
Tyrone was standing behind Sabrina, holding Jennie's hand in one hand and the fruits and vegetables they had just picked out in the other.
Sabrina had no clue how long Tyrone had been standing there or how much he had overheard.
Jennie grinned mischievously and approached, “Sabrina, are they heavy? Let me carry those for you."
"They're not heavy. When did you get here?" Sabrina asked, forcing a smile as she glanced at Tyrone.
Tyrone appeared composed, but his intense gaze stirred Sabrina's heart.
“Just now!" Jennie exclaimed. “Tyrone's going on a business trip, so he brought me here to have a meal with you."
"Oh," Sabrina said, turning to Tyrone. "Where are you headed?"
Tyrone approached and gently took the bag of potatoes from Sabrina's hand. "Philade. It could be a long one. Let's go.”
"Okay."
Once home, Tyrone brought the groceries into the kitchen.
Sabrina remained in the living room, entertaining Jennie.
An hour later, the freshly prepared dishes were ready, and Sabrina enjoyed them eagerly.
During dinner, Tyrone gave Sabrina various instructions, like always having bodyguards when going out.
