Chapter: 375
In his youth, Osiris was a playboy who cared little about the company.
During the company's most trying times after their parents’ demise, Osiris provided no assistance. Elton was left to save the company on his own.
Fortunately, their parents were aware of Osiris' limited business acumen. Consequently, they allocated the majority of their shares to Elton, while Osiris only held a small portion.
Although their partnership with Blakely Group was Largely attributed to Galilea, their solid footing in Mathias' elite society was due to Elton's relentless efforts in building connections and stabilizing the business.
Even if their affiliation with Blakely Group was severed and things took a turn for the worse, they could still endure.
Osiris, however, attributed all success to his daughter, Galilea.
Osiris was left wanting for more shares. He had attempted to discuss this with Elton, but his feigned confusion left Osiris feeling slighted and led him to meddle in company matters.
"I didn't mean that. All I'm trying to express is Galilea's significant contributions to our company. You wouldn't treat your niece unjustly, would you? Despite her efforts, she's without a single share. Does that sound fair to you?"
Elton was aware that Osiris was trying to get some shares.
Rather than engaging in a quarrel with him, Elton simply responded, "You bring up Galilea, I'm curious about her relationship with Tyrone.
How is that going?"
"It couldn't be better! Just recently, he threw a grand birthday bash for her. Weren't you there?" Osiris retorted with a hint of pride.
Despite his own shortcomings, he had a remarkable daughter. Everyone respected him so much.
“Are you certain?"
“Why would I have any reason to deceive you?" Osiris shot him a look of contempt. "Galilea's future as Mrs. Blakely seems sealed."
"I beg to differ."
“What are you implying?" Osiris shot Elton a quick glance. "The two of them being together is good for us. Even if you're hesitant about allocating shares to her, there's no need to cast a hex on her, is there?"
"I didn't curse her. I'll have you know that today, at the club, I bumped into Tyrone, who was in the company of another woman."
Osiris looked at him suspiciously. “And who might that be?"
“Sabrina.”
