Chapter: 1001
Regardless of the evening's destination, a dress always seemed Like a dependable option.

After picking out her outfit, she took the dress and neatly tucked her underwear inside it. Then, with a quick turn, she aimed to rush back to the bathroom.

It seemed today wasn't her Lucky day.

The slippers under her feet were probably soaked from the water, and she was single-mindedly focused on changing into the dress as quickly as possible.

Just as she walked out of the room, her feet betrayed her stability.

Luckily, her reflexes were sharp, allowing her to hold on to the adjacent wall, preventing a fall.

However, the dress slipped from her grasp and tumbled to the floor, causing the underwear nestled within to spill out.

Just as she was about to pick it up, the room's door abruptly swung open.

The second Bennett opened the door, he saw Claudia squatting on the floor, wearing a bathrobe. Worried she had slipped, he quickly went over to her.

“Are you alright?"

Claudia froze upon hearing him.

Snapping back to reality, she quickly grabbed her dress and underpants and held them to her chest.

Just as she picked up her underpants, Bennett walked up to her and asked again, “Everything okay?"

Sliding the underpants into her dress, Claudia's face turned bright red.

“I'm fine. I was just going to the bathroom to change.”

Having said that, she quickly stood up and wanted to walk away.

Bennett put out his hand, as if he was trying to keep her safe.

“Slow down, don't run. You might fall or something.”

Right after he said this, his eyes suddenly darkened.

Just a little while ago, when Claudia was squatting, Bennett could only see her face turning a subtle shade of red in her white bathrobe.

Now that she had stood up, the bathrobe came a bit undone at the neckline. Her fair skin caught his eye in an instant.

When it dawned on him that Claudia was not wearing any undergarments beneath her bathrobe, he felt like he was losing control.

"Cece," he murmured.

Feeling embarrassed, Claudia looked at him. When her eyes met his, deep and black, she felt stunned.
