Chapter: 1004
Asking about that now made it seem like she was eager to do intimate things with him.
Such thoughts deepened Claudia's blush. She wanted to clarify things, but words failed her.
Would her explanations only muddle things further?
With a gentle smirk, Bennett inquired, “Claudia, do you still want to go out?"
Instead of responding, he posed the same question back at her. The crucial thing was, when Claudia peered into his eyes, she sensed that his question went beyond the question itself.
Noticing her ears turned red, Bennett looked her way, ending his playful banter.
"I'll always keep my word. Dress up, and we can head out."
Claudia's tension eased.
“Where are we going? Should I be dressed formally?"
“No need, just wear what you feel best in."
“Alright, give me a moment. I'll head upstairs and switch outfits!"
How could she dress casually for an outing with her husband?
With those thoughts, Claudia stood up and made her way upstairs.
Noticing Claudia's absence, Marcia emerged from the kitchen, asking, “Mr. Dreskin, are you done with your meal?"
Bennett nodded, and then he stood up and left the table.
It was already cold at the end of September. Claudia chose a plum colored long dress with the pearl collar and quickly wore her hair in braids.
When Bennett came in, she was doing her makeup.
Catching his reflection, Claudia responded instinctively, “Just adding a touch of makeup."
“There's no rush, Claudia."
Not wanting to keep him waiting, Claudia sped up her makeup routine.
She kept her makeup simple. After a layer of foundation, she outlined her eyes, added some blush, set everything in place, and applied Lipstick.
Once content with her look, she approached Bennett, lounging on a nearby sofa, and said, "I'm done. We can go out now!"
Bennett's gaze briefly settled on her lips before he responded, "Alright."
With a grin, he stood up and extended his hand to her.
