Chapter: 1079
Witnessing this, Bennett quickly extended his hand to help her, asking, “Are your feet numb?"
She glanced up at him and gave an awkward nod, saying, "Yeah, a bit."
She had been crouching for an extended period.
It was so embarrassing!
She blushed again.
“Shall I hug you?"
Without hesitation, Claudia shook her head. Bennett, without missing a beat, stooped down and lifted her into his arms.
"I've got you.

They quickly went back to the part of wall where they had jumped down.

Even if stones were once present, cemetery workers likely cleared them.
She looked at the looming wall, anxiety evident in her voice.
"What should we do?"
She couldn't stay here tonight, could she?
With this in mind, she scanned her surroundings and noticed tombstones throughout the area.
It was scary.
Claudia hastily averted her gaze and instinctively leaned against Bennett's chest.
Placing her gently on the ground, he formulated a plan and said, "I'll climb the wall first, then help you over. Sounds good?"
Hope gleamed in Claudia's eyes. She nodded in agreement.
“That works!"
Bennett smiled at her and said, "Just hold on a moment, Claudia."
As he spoke, he began to fold his sleeves back.
