Chapter: 1110
Approaching her, he felt the temperature of her glass.
He only pulled away once he was sure of the water's warmth.
Shaking her head, Claudia responded, “It doesn't hurt."
Acknowledging her, he suggested, “Let's grab breakfast.”
"Sure," she responded with a smile.
After breakfast, they headed to the hospital to spend time with Jace.
However, when it was Lunchtime, Jace requested once more that they depart.
Despite their hesitation, they ultimately respected his wish and exited.
Claudia and Bennett both had lunch at home.
After lunch, her waist was a little sore, and her stomach felt a little uncomfortable. She practiced on the piano for another one hour before going back to her room for a nap.
Perhaps it was because of her period, but Claudia felt a Little sleepy.
Not long after she went to the bedroom, she fell asleep and only opened her eyes again two hours later.
After what seemed to be a much needed rest, she felt much better.
She stood up and went to stand on the balcony for some fresh air. A short while after, she went down to the piano room.
Seeing that Claudia was up, the maid brought her coffee.
“Mr. Dreskin went back to the company half an hour ago. He said he wouldn't be able to come back and have dinner with you."
“Okay, thank you."
Marcia, the maid, nodded and asked Claudia what she wanted for dinner.
Claudia didn't really have much of an appetite, so she asked Marcia to make anything.
Bennett missed dinner and only came back home at eight o'clock in the evening. Claudia was in the piano room, practicing the piano piece she was to perform in two days.
She was so focused on the piece that she didn't notice someone come in.
After a while, she finally played the last note and raised her hand to rub her shoulders. She was startled when a pair of hands settled on her shoulders before hers could.
She turned her head around and found Bennett looking down at her.
"When did you come back? Why didn't I hear you come in?"
