Chapter: 1130
"We can get the meal to-go. I'll place the order online now. That way, we can eat at the restaurant without much delay."

While talking, Claudia swiftly pulled out her phone and placed an order.

ALL Bennett responded with was a simple "yes." He was inclined to go along with her decisions.

Embarrassed, Claudia said, "Well... I didn't ask how hungry you are."

"Just a small serving will do."

While he wasn't hungry, Claudia's concern about him starving was evident.

Once she finished ordering, Claudia settled the bill.

She hurriedly ushered Bennett into the elevator as the doors opened.

The restaurant was a quick stroll away, situated about five hundred meters from the hospital's opposite end. It was roughly a seven- minute walk.

When they arrived, the noodles were already ready.

Claudia quickly approached the counter, presenting her order details.

As Bennett collected their meal, Claudia chose a cozy spot near the window. She neatly cleaned their utensils with a tissue and passed a shiny fork to Bennett.

“Hold on, I'll grab us some water."

By the time Bennett looked up, Claudia was already heading out.

A playful smile formed on his Lips.

Next to them was a 24-hour convenience store. Claudia went in, picked up two water bottles, and returned.

Bennett took one bottle from Claudia, opened it, and handed it back.

Seeing Claudia struggle to open hers, he took it, effortlessly twisted off the cap, and took a sip.

With a tinge of red on her face, Claudia said, "These noodles are a bit salty. If it's too much for you to eat, I'll get some water for it."

As she was about to stand up again, Bennett gently grasped her hand, saying, “It's okay."

A bit flustered, she admitted, "The noodles taste good but might be a little salty."

Having gone through Jackson's note multiple times, she was well-acquainted with Bennett's taste.

“Don't bother. I'm just not that hungry right now."

Claudia was a little embarrassed.
