Chapter: 1209
With two crabs still untouched out of the four, she requested Marcia to wrap them for her family to enjoy.
Breck had gotten these crabs from a local lake farm, ensuring they were fresh for the afternoon tasting.
They were indeed fresh. Had there been no misunderstanding, Claudia might have indulged in a bit more.
Distracted, she didn't notice Bennett coming out of the bathroom.
Lifting her head, she caught sight of his throat beneath his dark pajamas, the movement of his Adam's apple quite enticing.
Claudia swallowed hard and looked away. Feeling nervous, she sat up and asked, "Did you finish your bath?"
"Yes," Bennett responded, his gaze drifting from her face down to her collarbone, a shadow passing over his eyes.
After taking a shower, Claudia came out without wearing anything inside and her pajamas were loose.
She sat on the bed so casually that he could see her breasts clearly.
Recalling their unfinished moment in the piano room, Bennett queried, “Are you sleepy?"
Claudia shook her head. It was merely nine in the evening, and she was not sleepy.
Unaware of his plans, she thought if Breck had invited Bennett out once more. “Are you going out? Tomorrow is Sunday. It's good to go out and have fun tonight."
She found card games enjoyable, despite her lack of skill.
Bennett leaned in, embracing her, reassuring, “I'm not leaving.”
Fresh from his shower, he exuded a clean, inviting scent.
Claudia Looped her arms around his neck, looked up and asked, “Not feeling sleepy then?"
Without a word, Bennett lifted her, repositioning themselves on the bed, with Claudia nestled comfortably within his embrace.
Their position was incredibly intimate, with Claudia accidentally brushing against his private area.
She blushed and wanted to change her position, but Bennett held her so tightly that she could not help but touch it.
"Do you still feel uncomfortable?"
He leaned closer, his lips grazing her ear, his warm breath sending waves of agitation through her.
Claudia's face became redder, but she didn't realize what the other party was asking. She looked at him in confusion and said, "I don't feel uncomfortable."
Bennett stared at her. After a brief two seconds, the realization dawned on Claudia.
Her mind went blank and she couldn't speak at all.
