Chapter: 1252
“Not at all."
She acted as though all was normal, but his hand on her back caused her to let out a soft moan.
Looking at the woman in his arms, Bennett smiled more happily.
He massaged gently, inquiring, “Is there any pain?"
At first, Claudia didn't quite catch his words, just a tickling sensation in her ear as he spoke.
Peering into her eyes, Bennett asked again, “Does it hurt?"
She found herself at a loss for words.
Why did he have to ask questions that made her so self-conscious?
Looking up at him, Claudia hid her face in his embrace.
Seeing her reaction, Bennett didn't ask further.
The morning breeze entered through the window, and Claudia felt the refreshing air. It was only then that she recalled it was a workday.
She quickly pushed his hand away, and said, "You've got work today, Bennett."
Bennett checked his watch and inquired, “How about going out for dinner tonight?"
She agreed without a second thought. "Yes, let's do that."
They hadn't had a dinner date for a while.
Bennett caressed her waist once more, leaning in to kiss her blushing Lips.
The moment Claudia groaned, she found herself caught in Bennett's kiss. She tried pushing him away without success and left to accept his kiss.
After a while, he finally released her.
Breathing heavily, Claudia glanced at him and said, “You're going to be late."
“Weren't you about to say something last night?"
“What was it?" She opened her eyes slightly and gazed at him with a blank expression.
With a laugh, Bennett whispered her own hesitant words back to her.
Claudia blushed. "It's nothing."
Feeling a bit nervous, she couldn't bring herself to meet his gaze.
