Chapter: 1286
Before taking more than a couple of steps, Bennett halted and turned back to her. "Can you help me pick out an outfit? I don't think you've ever chosen clothes for me before."

Embarrassed, Claudia felt her cheeks warm a little. Bennett was behaving a bit weird today.

Of course, she was willing to comply because his request was reasonable.

Exiting the study, they returned to the master bedroom to get him ready.

Bennett was not effortful to dress because his clothes easily matched.

His wardrobe consisted of classic styles, complemented by the inherent handsomeness that made him look good no matter what he wore.

Claudia initially chose a black sweater and black trousers for him.

As she pulled the clothes out, however, she noticed her reflection in the mirror and the color of her clothes. Reconsidering, she returned the dark clothes in the closet and picked an outfit the same color as hers.

"Just put them on."

Bashful that he would read her thoughts, she glanced at him quickly as she gave him the clothes and then avoided eye contact.

Bennett smiled and simply said, "Okay."

He accepted the clothes from her and proceeded to change.

As the two stood in front of the dressing mirror, their coordinated outfits worked so well together that they would undoubtedly be asked where they bought the couple's clothes when they went out.

The sight caused Claudia's heart to flutter, and she couldn't help smiling. She turned to look at Bennett and found that he was gazing at her. Then she asked softly, “What do you think?"

"I will listen to you."

Bennett was done getting ready, but fifteen minutes had passed already.

It was getting late, and they shouldn't dally any longer. With her bag in hand, Claudia followed him to the garage, got into the car, and they headed out.

On the road, the increased weekend traffic meant they were delayed by several minutes more than usual in reaching the restaurant.

Despite the hold-up, they managed to arrive just on time at twelve o'clock.

The restaurant was bustling with people, considering it was the weekend, but Jackson had made a reservation at a table for them.

Bennett held Claudia's hand as a waiter greeted them and guided them inside.

Jackson had booked a private room.

They followed the waiter to the quieter second floor until they stopped at the end of the corridor. "Mr. Dreskin, your friend is already arrived.”

The waiter pushed the door open.
