Bennett looked down at her, carried her to the closet, and gently sat her on the stool.

When her feet touched the floor, Claudia breathed a sigh of relief.

She smiled sweetly as she glanced at him and gave him a quick kiss on his cheek. "Thank you, Bennett."

Then she stood up to reach for her pajamas.

Bennett stood there, watching her. He lifted his hand to touch the cheek she had kissed and said, "Claudia, could you please help me get my pajamas?"

Just as Claudia was about to turn around and head to the bathroom, she heard his request and the longing in his voice.

She randomly selected a set of his pajamas and placed them on the stool. "Well, I'm going to take a shower now."

Turning on her heel to rush past him, she was pulled into his strong arms instead.

Claudia caught a hint of the familiar, alluring sandalwood scent, sending a wave of heat through her. She squirmed in his embrace and said, “I'm going to shower."

“I'm a little sleepy too. Let's have a shower together."

His bold proposal caused Claudia to blush. "Then why don't you bathe in the master bedroom? I'll shower in the guest room!"

"It is too troublesome."

"It's not troublesome at all. It's just a few steps..."

Before she could finish her words, Bennett scooped her up again and grabbed the pajamas from the stool.

Claudia's face flushed with heat, and she didn't want to get intimate.

Despite her reluctance, Bennett, undeterred, knew how to change her mind. "I know, Claudia. You always enjoy appreciating my physique."

“What? What did you say?"

How could he say such ridiculous words?

When did she like to appreciate his body?

Well, perhaps she did enjoy appreciating it a little.

Afraid that Bennett would say something bad, Claudia quickly reached out and clutched his pajamas into her arms.

Seeing this, Bennett finally smiled with satisfaction and led her to the bathroom.

The bathroom, though only a short distance away, seemed to make Claudia's heart beat faster with each step.

Once inside, Bennett placed her on the wash basin.
