Chapter: 177
Bennett's indulgent grin gave him the chills. Was everything alright with Bennett?

Jackson regained his senses and cautiously inquired, "Sir?"

The smile on Bennett's face gradually faded. He rhythmically drummed the tabletop with his forefinger and commanded, “Remove Claudia's trend off the Internet search."

Jackson was prepared to report to Bennett regarding this matter, but now realized that Bennett had already been aware of the situation. He was momentarily taken aback, but then promptly nodded.

“Understood, sir. I'll set it in motion immediately."

“Of course, sir."

With his thin, elegant fingers, Bennett began to tap away on his phone screen.

But, there was no response.

His mood dipped a Little as he pondered over what to do next.

Seeing Bennett silent, Jackson couldn't resist throwing a glance in his direction.

Bennett's gaze was fixed on his phone, and his pleasant countenance from moments ago now seemed tinged with melancholy.

Jackson was taken aback. The change in Bennett's expression was so sudden!

“Have our team concluded the agreement discussions with Mathews for the endorsement?"

Mathews was supposed to be the face of Segarine Group for the following year. The contract was under discussion the prior week, but hadn't been finalized yet.

However, this was generally overseen by the branding department, and Bennett hardly intervened. Jackson was puzzled as to why Bennett was inquiring about it all of a sudden. Was it connected to Claudia in some way?

Mulling over it, Jackson quickly responded, "Sir, we are almost there.

The contract is expected to be signed this week."

“Excellent. How about organizing a dinner tonight? Invite them over and get the contract signed.”

Cautiously, Jackson asked Bennett, "Do you intend to join the dinner?"

"Indeed. To express my sincerity, I plan to accompany my wife to the dinner."

“Alright, sir. I'll make the necessary arrangements immediately!"

Jackson had a hunch that it wasn't just a gesture of sincerity, but rather a demonstration of ownership!

Of course, he didn't dare voice this out Loud.

At Bennett's wave, Jackson nodded, spun on his heel, and exited the room, closing the door behind him.
