Initially, several of Delilah's friends were rallying behind her on the Twitter, but soon dared not utter a word anymore.

Her two best friends, Naya Robles and Lydia Flores, had reached their boiling point. They grabbed a snapshot of the harsh comments and displayed it in the group chat for Delilah's eyes.

Just moments ago, Delilah had let loose a flood of tears in front of Anthony. She pleaded her ignorance about the origins of their pictures of ring shopping that had mysteriously ended up on Twitter.

Tears flowed down her cheeks as she tried to explain. Anthony couldn't imagine Delilah causing such havoc. He had, after all, been the one to suggest she pick out the ring with him. Yet, somehow, sneaky snapshots of the incident was circulating online, casting a negative light on Delilah.

“Delilah, hold on tight. I'm going to get to the bottom of this!

Please, you're not feeling well. Rest up. I have some errands to run. So Long."

The moment Delilah ended the call, she dove into the group chat. Her cheeks lost their color as she saw the screenshot of harsh comments and rage washed over her.

Simultaneously, Anthony, poised to drive over to the Marshall residence, was interrupted by a call from his mate Peyton Scott.

“What's the matter?"

“Dude! Why is Claudia married to Bennett? And what the heck is happening between you and Delilah? Are you crazy? Why on earth are you buying a ring for Delilah?"

Listening to Peyton's bombardment of questions, Anthony's forehead furrowed, "What are you blabbering about? When did Cece marry Bennett? And about the ring, it's not what you think it is."

Peyton scoffed, "The marriage of Claudia and Bennett is official. Have a look at your Facebook

With that, Peyton ended the call abruptly.

Anthony stared at his phone, puzzled and taken aback. He knew Peyton was annoyed.

But his shopping trip for the ring with Delilah wasn't for a marriage proposal like the internet buzz suggested.

Today was supposed to be his third anniversary with Claudia. They had decided half a year ago to register their marriage and Legally become husband and wife on this very special day.

However, Delilah's emotional breakdown on the eve of the wedding left him with no option but to skip out.

That fateful day, Claudia met with an accident. The news hit him hard.

Still, he had assumed it was another one of her manipulations.

Once he Learned that Claudia had spent more than eight hours in the ER, guilt washed over him. But when he dashed back to Linmarsh, Claudia refused to see him.

On her discharge day from the hospital, Claudia had slapped Delilah.

Delilah, though, not only forgave Claudia but also comforted Anthony and explained Claudia's situation.
