Chapter: 259
Bennett casually gestured the direction while discussing the swimming pool with Claudia, leading her to believe it was situated beyond the dining room. Much to her surprise, upon exiting, she encountered a vast lawn adorned with golf equipment.

There was no swimming pool here!

Two paths diverged in front of her though: a cobblestone walkway to the left and another leading to the front door on the right. She deduced the pool must lie along the left path.

After walking through a garden adorned with flowers, Claudia finally stumbled upon the pool Bennett had referred to.

This pool, an open-air marvel, was flanked by four coconut trees. Beneath them were scattered beach umbrellas and chairs. A quaint room situated near the villa housed a lengthy wooden table, cushioned in white, accompanied by a bench of matching aesthetics.

Upon reaching the pool, Claudia found Bennett already immersed in the waters.

His robust figure shone under the sun, his usually hidden legs extending long and straight in the pool. His swimming mimicked a nimble fish gliding through the glistening water under the sun, offering a delightful sight.

Captivated, Claudia hesitated to disturb him.

However, Bennett had already spotted her. Reaching the pool's edge, he swam in her direction, removed his swimming goggles to reveal his attractive visage, and casually asked, “What's up?"

Discarding his swimming cap, his hair was tousled, making him all the more irresistible to Claudia.

"Step back a bit.”

Startled, Claudia instinctively complied.

In the next moment, a wave of coolness washed over her as Bennett, with a single leap from the pool's edge, Landed in front of her.

He briefly glanced at the documents clutched in her arms and remarked, “I'LL be back in five minutes."

Then, barefoot, he entered that small room.

The sun wasn't particularly bright at that moment, allowing Claudia to have a broad view of the swimming pool and catch a glimpse of the sunset in the distance.

After soaking in the view, she entered the small room and took a seat.

Bennett had asked her to wait for five minutes. She leafed through the Papers again, and soon he returned, now cloaked in a bathrobe.

The gentle breeze wafted through the wooden screens on either side of the room, bringing with it a refreshing chill.

Bennett nonchalantly pulled up a chair and sat beside Claudia, inquiring, “What's the issue?"

He seemed to anticipate her visit.

The fresh scent of his body wash immediately filled Claudia's senses, prompting her to sit upright. She placed the documents on the table. flipping to the tenth page, before stuttering, “Here, I'm slightly...

She struggled to articulate her thoughts, finding herself in a state of both shock and confusion.

Leaning in slightly, Bennett rested his hand on the table, effectively enclosing her.
