Chapter: 261
It took Claudia half a minute of staring at the paper before she finally realized what he meant.

“Oh, I see. You married me to keep all the other women away, didn't you?"

“It's your duty as my wife now."

Those words gave her goosebumps, but she still managed to keep a smile on her face.

“Well, you're right."

“Are you a fan of perfumes?"

Bennett asked out of the blue, stunning her for the umpteenth time. She looked up at him and then shook her head in confusion. "Not really."

Although she saw something about Bennett's hatred for strong perfumes in one of the pages, she didn't think too much about it.

"You should try wearing them more."

“What ?"

Claudia gave him a puzzled Look.

"Your perfumes all smell nice."

“Oh, okay... Thanks.”

Did she smell funny now?

Why did Bennett suddenly ask her to use perfume more often? Did he hate her natural scent?

Claudia slowly lowered her head and gave herself a sniff. She didn't catch any weird smell.

She didn't stink at all.

“Penny for your thoughts?"

Bennett's voice suddenly rang out. Claudia, who had just put her nose to her other armpit, blurted out without thinking, "I was wondering if I stink."

“Why ?"*

“So I can know why you suddenly asked me to wear perfume," she spat again.

Her hand flew to her mouth as soon as she finished speaking.

Did she have way too much to drink last night?

Why did it seem that she was still not in her right state of mind? What was she talking about?
