Chapter: 294
Claudia was momentarily taken aback. Then it dawned on her that the call might have been from Bennett's secretary. She confessed, "Yes, I've seen it. They're all attacking me."

She admitted that she had used her privilege to remove Patty from the show.

But for them to insinuate she was subpar at playing the piano? That was something she couldn't stomach!

Frustrated, Claudia stared at Bennett. "I can't stand it." Bennett quirked an eyebrow.

“Oh really? What a coincidence! I can't stand it either."

Claudia was consumed with rage, an intensity she'd never felt, not even when Delilah had berated her online.

Her piano journey had begun at the tender age of four. Her present standing was a testament to her innate talent, and unyielding diligence.

High school was a testament to her dedication. She'd crafted a strict regime. She was asleep by midnight and awake by five in the morning, with piano practice slotted in before school.

Her ascent to fame hadn't diminished her dedication to the piano. She ensured a minimum of 3@ hours a week were spent honing her craft, regardless of performances or competitions.

All her efforts were aimed at one goal. It was to excel in her cherished art form. Yet, the ungrateful netizens accused her of buying her achievements, even claiming that she instigated a feud with Patty for publicity. Had they merely criticized her character or conduct, she could've overlooked it.

But this? They discredited two decades of her hard work, trying to smear her reputation.

As she relayed her feelings, Claudia was quaking with indignation. Such an injustice was a first for her, and it caused her eyes to well up with tears.

Bennett's comforting hand took hers and she glanced towards him. A tear escaped as she blinked. "Bennett, I'm so upset!”

She was really angry!

Bennett was taken aback. His gaze grew solemn at the sight of her tear. He gently enveloped her in a comforting hug.

“Don't cry. We'll get back at them."

Enveloped in Bennett's arms, Claudia continued to tremble, fueled by her anger.

She typically didn't concern herself with online gossips. Even when Delilah had lambasted her online, resulting in a flood of harsh criticism, she'd remained unfazed.

However, this time was different as they defame her career.

Bennett's warmth and familiar woody scent slowly subdued her rage, bringing her back to reality.

Anger wouldn't solve anything. Patty had overstepped her bounds, and if Claudia didn't retaliate, they would consider her an easy target.

Her eyes dropped as she started to formulate her revenge.

It wasn't difficult. Patty had been in the industry for five years, and the Internet was surely brimming with unflattering stories about her Claudia decided she would give Patty a taste of her own theatrics. Since Claudia was not part of the entertainment industry, she had nothing to lose.

Patty, on the other hand, had everything to lose if her fans turned against her.
