Chapter: 309
As soon as she stood up, there was a knock on the door. "You in there? It's me."

Claudia almost jumped out of her skin when she heard that Low male voice. She rushed to open the door. "Bennett?"

“I've drawn up a general agreement. Wanna take a look at it?"

Bennett leaned his tall and slim frame against the door post. His hand was empty

“Oh, okay."

Claudia followed him to the study. When they got to the stairway, she was surprised to see Jackson there as well.

“Hey, Jackson."

“Good day, Mrs. Dreskin."

Jackson nodded and left in a hurry.

Two hours ago, Jackson suddenly received a call from Bennett. He thought it was a work emergency. To his surprise, he was ordered to draw up an agreement immediately. He was good at such things having worked for Bennett for a long time.

But when he heard what the agreement was about, he couldn't help wondering if his ears were playing tricks on him.

Before he could even react, Bennett began dishing out the clauses he wanted in the agreement. He also asked him to print it out and deliver it immediately.

Jackson's confusion and alarm tripled when he saw Claudia.

Of course, he didn't dare to show it. He just greeted her and left. Claudia put two and two together. Jackson must have delivered the agreement.

She withdrew her sight and continued following Bennett.

As soon as they got into the study, Bennett handed her a document.

“Read through it first."

The first thing Claudia saw when she took the document was the header that read, "Marriage Agreement".

Although something about this felt strange, she couldn't tell what it was.

Claudia pursed her Lips as she read carefully. The first three clauses were fine by her. But when she arrived at the fourth, she frowned slightly.

"No.4: No close contact with the opposite sex." Taking a look at Bennett, Claudia said, "I don't understand this clause."

Bennett glanced at the section she pointed. Then, he explained, “It's as simple as ABC. You know that paparazzi always take pictures. If we are photographed too close to the opposite sex, it would be assumed that we are not faithful to each other. Worse still, people may detect that we are in a contracted marriage. Do you have a problem with it?"

“Nah, it's fine."

Claudia shook her head and pointed at the fifth term.
