Bennett suddenly turned to look at her. Without thinking, she blurted out, "You!"

Claudia immediately bit her tongue in regret. Those words came out so flirtatious. However, it was already too Late to take them back.

Afraid that she would have another slip of the tongue, Claudia zipped up her lips. Her face flushed as she walked over and sat opposite Bennett at the dining table. She helped herself to some toast, bacon, and eggs.

Friday arrived in the blink of an eye. Just as Jackson has advised, she spared two hours to get her hair and makeup done. Two hours easily became three.

The party was scheduled to begin at eight. Claudia went to the beauty parlor at four o'clock.

Bennett had picked out the dress she was going to be wearing himself. Since the night Jackson received a pay raise, he realized how best to please his boss.

He went all out to source the best dresses. A brilliant idea struck him after he contacted numerous famous brands and got many expensive dresses. He decided to send Bennett pictures of them so he could make his pick.

Claudia was treated like a queen from the very moment she stepped foot in the beauty parlor. The employees at the beauty salon did magic on her hair. Thereafter, she went to the makeup studio.

Going all out to prepare for a dinner party was a first for Claudia. She usually did her own makeup. For her wedding with Anthony, she just hired a make-up artist and a hairstylist team to get her ready at home.

This beauty parlor had everything she could ever need today. To attend to her alone, they even closed down in the afternoon.

Claudia sat in a comfortable chair as people stood or squatted around her. All she had to do was lift her hands or feet upon their request. When it was time to get dressed, someone even helped her wear the dress.

The white dress had a very unique design. The plunging neckline on the chest was sexy but not revealing. The puffy-sleeved design added more charm to her.

The corset attached to it accentuated her curvaceous figure.

Claudia could barely recognize herself as she stared at her reflection in the mirror.

Never had she slayed such a dress or even had full makeup on. This was all new to her.

The make-up artist and several assistants stared at Claudia with admiring eyes. "Mrs. Dreskin, you are so beautiful. I have never seen anyone pull off this dress like you just have. It's as if it was made specially for you!”

At this time, the stylist walked over with a jewelry box. "Mrs.

Dreskin, your husband specially prepared this necklace for you."

The stylist opened the jewelry box and the bright light fell on the vine-shaped diamond necklace, causing it to sparkle even more.
