Chapter: 414
“Is something wrong with it?"
After some hesitation, Claudia said, “Isn't it a bit dark?"
“No, I don't think so," Bennett replied, activating the screensaver once more.
This time, the image displayed was of her rushing into Bennett's arms. It was an intimate snapshot of their connection.
"I like this photo very much.” Claudia's heart swelled with happiness. In fact, she liked it as well.
Perhaps Bennett couldn't recall the events of that night.
With his busy schedule, that fleeting moment likely seemed trivial amidst his daily responsibilities.
The photo was undeniably beautiful and suited Bennett's style perfectly.
Claudia couldn't help but think how much better it would be if he realized that she was the heroine in the image.
She pondered over this for a while, ultimately deciding it was best not to reveal her recognition of the photograph, to avoid any embarrassment .
What if Bennett had merely found the picture aesthetically pleasing, without any deeper significance, and decided to use it as his screensaver? It would seem rather calculating of her to acknowledge the picture so quickly.
Forget it.
Recognizing her impulsivity, Claudia quickly sought to smooth things over, remarking, "You know, upon closer inspection, this picture has quite an artistic touch. It actually looks great as a screensaver."
She glanced at her Likeness in the photo, feeling her cheeks redden. To keep her secret, she had to maintain her normal demeanor. "I was just wondering out Loud. Mr. Dreskin, please don't take it to heart."
“It doesn't matter.”
The man seemed unperturbed.
Claudia breathed a sigh of relief and swiftly steered the conversation in a new direction. "I must practice the piano for three hours today I'll head to the practice room now."
“Alright ."
Bennett picked up the phone, his dark eyes studying the screensaver picture with great attention
Claudia's heart skipped a beat when she saw this.
She stood up and left the table, ready to go upstairs to the piano room.
However, after only a few steps, she was halted by the man's voice, tinged with confusion. "Does this photo strike you as familiar?"
Her back stiffening, Claudia spun around to face him, replying, "No, I was merely wondering.“
“Really?”
