Chapter: 440
Eugenia and Mina didn't think they were in the wrong at all. In their defense, they were just talking to Claudia.
But Zaria wouldn't hear their explanation and had security escort them out.
Many guests captured the scene on their phones, sharing the news with friends.
The party was turning out to be quite interesting.
After handling the situation, Zaria quickly texted Claudia an apology. As she did, she remembered something even more crucial.
Would Bennett force her to go streaking due to what happened tonight?
The car came to a slow halt as a red light glowed ahead.
Claudia's gaze found Bennett's, and as their eyes Locked, her mind went blank for two seconds, causing her ears to turn red.
“Am I good-looking?" Bennett inquired.
Claudia's cheeks flushed. "Of course," she stammered.
Why else would she have been staring at him the whole time?
Bennett tapped his fingers on the steering wheel and inquired, “Can you do this after we go home?”
As he spoke, he furrowed his brow slightly, appearing somewhat troubled and bashful.
“If you keep gazing at me like that, I might get distracted. It's not safe."
Claudia's eyes widened, and she clasped her thigh. "Sorry, I won't stare at you again."
She felt deeply embarrassed.
However, Bennett chuckled and reassuringly touched her head. "It doesn't matter. It's not humiliating. Everyone loves beautiful faces.”
His touch brought a faint wooden scent, and for a moment, Claudia thought she saw affection in his eyes.
Affection?
She shook her head, believing she was seeing things.
Her phone's sudden vibration brought her back to reality, alleviating some of the embarrassment.
At the same time, the traffic light turned green.
Bennett withdrew his gaze, started the car, and they drove on.
Claudia checked her phone and found an apology message from Zaria. "I'm sorry, Cece. I didn't know they did such a thing to you! But don't worry. I've already asked the security guards to throw them out of my party!"
