Slipping his phone into his pocket, Anthony sped away from his villa to the Marshall family residence!

Jace had assumed Claudia was still sleeping, so he had his breakfast and prepared to head to work. Unexpectedly, his path crossed with Anthony's car just as he was leaving the villa.

The sight darkened Jace's expression as he directed his driver, "Keep moving."

He gazed at the empty balcony of the villa.

While checking messages from his friends on his phone, his countenance grew increasingly grim.

He navigated to Twitter, where Claudia's post took him by surprise, instilling an odd sense of regret.

Suddenly, his phone rang. Initially, Anthony didn't plan to take the call. As he was about to switch off his phone and silently await Claudia's appearance at the villa gate, he noticed Kase's name on the caller ID.

With an icy glare, Anthony picked up the call. "Yes?"

"Sir, you've got a meeting scheduled for nine o'clock this morning.”

After a brief silence, he acknowledged, "I see."
