Chapter: 509
“Sure thing. This dress is way too expensive
Joann wasn't about to be careless when it came to money.
The next song she'd play didn't warrant such a lavish dress. Instead, Claudia wound don a black slip skirt - it swayed slightly, exuding elegance and a touch of allure.
Wearing that flirty skirt around made Claudia somewhat bashful, prompting her to revert to her previous outfit.
She changed into her own attire, wanting to check out the auditorium. Unaware that she had given Bennett a ticket, Joann assumed Claudia was going to say hi to Aurora.
Over 200 people filled the VIP section, with Aurora and Zaria seated in the front row.
Upon Claudia's approach, Zaria rose and dashed over, exclaiming, "Cece, you looked stunning earlier! Absolutely stunning!"
A small light accessory with Claudia's image rested atop Zaria's head. Since it was Mathews' concert and his fans surrounded them, Claudia removed the accessory from her friend's head. "You should wear Mathews’ light accessory instead.”
“Why? I came here for you!"
Meanwhile, Aurora joined them. "Cece! Are you moved?"
She proudly waved her light accessory and glanced at Claudia. Blushing, Claudia responded, “I'm really touched."
Could they change the subject now, though?
Considering there were all Mathews' fans around them, Claudia didn't want to draw negative attention.
“Let's keep it together. This is Mathews’ concert after all."
Aurora remarked, “No worries. I've got this one as well."
She raised her right hand, displaying another light accessory with Mathews' name and image.
“How's that? Do you believe my Love for you is genuine? I'm supporting you even at my idol‘s concert."
“Thank you, but I prefer staying low-key."
While saying this, Claudia scanned the surroundings, but Bennett was nowhere to be seen.
Hadn't he come? She really believed he would!
Observing Claudia's sad look, both Zaria and Aurora detected an issue.
Zaria leaned over and inquired with curiosity, “Cece, are you Looking for someone?"
Aurora shared the intrigue. "Indeed. Do you have other pals around?" Claudia averted her gaze and conveyed, "No. Return to your seats. I'm heading backstage to prepare."
Fifteen minutes had already passed since she got changed and come to greet her friends. The next performance was imminent.
