Chapter: 614
Claudia suddenly realized that something was wrong. She had a bad feeling.

Soon, she felt the softness of a mattress on her back.

However, the sheets had that all too familiar woodsy fragrance. This wasn't her room, much less her bed.

Bennett put her down and walked out. Claudia hurriedly opened her eyes. She was shocked when she realized where she was.

Why did Bennett put her on his bed?

Was her bedroom door locked?

No, he didn't even try to open her room. She would've felt it.

Did he take her to his room on purpose?

Asking all these questions in her head, Claudia felt her heart race. Damn it! Something was wrong with Bennett!

Claudia jumped out of Bennett's bed and was about to make a run for her bedroom, but before she could, Bennett suddenly showed up again.

He stared at her as he closed the door behind him. Then, he locked the door in front of her.

Seeing that Bennett had locked the door, Claudia swallowed and muttered, "M-Mr. Dreskin... I seem to have fallen asleep on the ride home."

“Really?”

He glanced at her and flashed her a faint smile. Then, he got closer to her step by step.

Claudia noticed the coat in Bennett's hand. That must've been the reason he left. He went downstairs to get that coat.

The next thing Claudia knew, Bennett was already standing in front of her.

She reflexively stepped back. After making two steps, she felt her calves hit the edge of Bennett‘s bed, and she was forced to sit down on the bed.

Bennett grabbed a chair and put it in front of Claudia. He sat in front of her. Then, he rolled up the coat in his hands and tossed it into the nearby trash can. Claudia watched him with eyes that were filled with both confusion and curiosity.

Did he really just throw that coat away?

That coat that was worth a fortune?

Noticing Claudia's bewilderment, Bennett said in a low voice, "It's dirty."

Looking at the relatively new coat in the trash can, Claudia asked, “Where is it dirty?"

If it was dirty, which it wasn't, why not just wash it?

“The collar."
