Chapter: 701
“Claudia, do join us for dinner whenever you wish. If Bennett's busy and doesn't have time, don't mind him. You just come alone!"

Carolina seemed keen to befriend Claudia. Despite Carolina's stunning looks, she was candid to a fault.

Claudia, with her gentle demeanor and enchanting presence, was someone Carolina felt irresistibly drawn to. She often felt the urge to wrap her in a hug.

After all, who wouldn't be enchanted by such beauty?

Just as Carolina was about to pull Claudia into another embrace, Bennett gestured for her to halt and drew Claudia protectively toward himself, saying, "Don't take advantage of her."

At this, Claudia's cheeks took on a rosy hue.

Carolina whined, “Is there anything wrong with embracing my sister-in-law? Bennett, you're so overprotective! She might just grow tired of you! Just let her be!"

Such a bold statement from Carolina!

Standing beside Bennett, Claudia found herself silently applauding Carolina's audacity.

“Isn't that so, Claudia?"

Claudia, who was unexpectedly dragged into the conversation, couldn't find the words to respond.

The group continued their light-hearted conversation at the door before Claudia hopped into the car with Bennett.

From the villa's entrance, Carolina energetically waved them off. It was evident she had taken quite a Liking to Claudia.

As the car drove away, Stevenson and his wife exchanged a glance and then retreated into the villa.

Carolina, turning to her mother, asked, “Mom, how on earth did my cousin manage to win over Claudia for marriage?"

Alessandra looked at her and playfully suggested, “Why not just ask your cousin directly?"

“I wouldn't dare!”

Mario chimed in with a chuckle, "Is there anything you're actually afraid of doing? You're fearless enough to do anything!"

The siblings' banter resumed. For Stevenson and Alessandra, such scenes were ordinary. They simply headed back to their room.

Once behind closed doors, Alessandra's smile vanished. "She's Jace Marshall's daughter, doesn't that mean..."

Stevenson shot her a look and said, “Decades have gone by. Had Jace known anything, he'd have acted on it. His silence suggests that he doesn't Know anything.”

Alessandra knit her brows.

“How did Bennett end up with her, of all people? Why did he specifically marry Jace's daughter instead of literally anyone else?”

Rubbing his temples, Stevenson reassured, “Don't worry. Even after all these years, Bennett still hasn't discovered anything, has he?"
