Chapter: 746
As they entered the house, Claudia shot Bennett a helpless look. "Why didn't you tell me that the designated driver had arrived?"

Bennett handed her a glass of warm water and reassured her, "Don't worry. He didn't see anything.”

He paused, and then he continued, "Even if he saw it, though, it didn't really matter. We're a married couple. There's nothing wrong with us kissing."

Claudia sent him an unimpressed Look.

The man was really shameless.

She rolled her eyes and then drank the water. "You haven't told me yet how you found out about my wish.”

“You told me."

Claudia clicked her tongue in annoyance.

She felt like the man was making a fool out of her. "Why would I tell you something like that? We married less than four months ago, which means we've only known each other for less than four months."

"You think I'm lying?"

"Aren't you?"

"I'm not," Bennett stated firmly.

Claudia set the glass down but did not let go of it. She stared at Bennett in confusion.

“Are you really not lying to me?"

“No.”

Smiling, Bennett added, “I will never lie to you, Cece."

“Dishonest men always say that."

“You sound Like you know a Lot of men."

Claudia went quiet.

It seemed that arguing with Bennett was useless because she never won against him.

She bit her lower lip before asking, “Did I really tell you that?" Bennett repeated patiently. "Yes, you told me about it yourself."

“When? Did I sleep talk or something?"

Bennett did not respond. He just kept smiling at her.

“Tell me. When did I tell you about it?" Claudia asked, now intrigued.
