Meanwhile, Kayla was enjoying a delicious meal with a friend when her phone suddenly vibrated. Assuming it was a message from one of her friends, she casually glanced at it. However, her eyes widened in surprise when she saw that it was a message from Claudia.

Her face darkened in an instant.

Bad signal? Bah! Kayla thought to herself.

In her opinion, Claudia had done it all on purpose. For the past two months, she must have looked like a fool. She was convinced that Claudia had been playing her all along.

Kayla couldn't help but wonder about Claudia's true intentions. Whenever she spoke about this CC woman, Claudia remained silent and watched her act Like an ignorant idiot!

With this message, Kayla felt like Claudia was rubbing her nose in it and trying to humiliate her even further. She couldn't help but feel like Claudia was taking pleasure in her embarrassment.

As anger coursed through her veins, Kayla's face flushed a deep shade of red. She clenched her jaw so tightly that her teeth felt Like they might crack. Unable to stomach another bite, she set her knife and fork down.

Her friend noticed her sudden change in demeanor and asked, "What's wrong?

“Nothing. I just have no appetite now.”

Her friend persisted.

Kayla knew she couldn't let her friend know the real reason for her frustration. So she made an excuse about feeling unwell and left the restaurant early. As she walked out, her face contorted into a scowl, and her fists balled up in anger.

As Aurora settled into her hotel room seat, she noticed a new message from Claudia on Line.

Assuming that Bennett had done something romantic for Claudia again, her curiosity turned into a full-blown smile as she opened it to find something else entirely.

Excited, Aurora responded, "Has she responded yet? She must be pissed off! I bet Kayla will be mad for days on end! Hahaha!"

She went on, teasing, “Cece, you've become quite smart! What a good comeback!"

Wearing a playful smile, Claudia responded, "I was going through Twitter and suddenly her message popped into my mind, so I decided to reply."

She was a polite person, and not responding to other people's messages would be considered impolite, right?

Claudia suspected that her interaction might have angered Kayla. In the midst of her enjoyment, Bennett, who had just ended his call, approached her, curiously asking from behind the sofa, “Why are you so happy? What happened?"
