Chapter: 889
Her cheeks flushed, and she chuckled in amusement when his words registered in her brain, She stared dazedly at the water and replied in a soft voice, "It feels good."

Bennett, still holding her, smiled tenderly.

"It's the same for me, Mrs. Dreskin."

The sun began to set.

The sky was less blue, and there were big, ominous cloud formations that could be seen off on the horizon.

In addition, the air was becoming noticeably chilly.

Bennett did not tease Claudia further because he was worried that she would catch a cold if they stayed there any longer.

"The sun is setting. Do you want to keep swimming?"

Claudia glanced at him and answered, “No, I'm good Her legs had gotten too weak for her to continue swimming.

After giving her a long, thoughtful look, Bennett let go of her, intending to leave the pool first before pulling her out.

However, as soon as he released her, she began to sink.

In a flash, his arm was back around her waist. He then led her to the pool's edge,

Claudia was too embarrassed to say anything. She would have drowned if

Bennett had not acted so quickly. Bennett aided her in climbing the steps leading out of the pool. With her hands on the handrail, Claudia climbed out of the water.

Once they were out of the pool, Bennett grabbed a bathrobe from the nearby chaise lounge and draped it over her shoulders, saying, "Go and take a shower now before you catch a cold."

The wind was especially chilling for Claudia because she had just gotten out of the water.

She pulled the collar of her robe more tightly around her neck and nodded at Bennett.

"I'LL go and shower now."

Her eyes traveled over him and lingered for a second. Then, she realized what she was doing and quickly looked away. She pulled the bathrobe closer around herself and ran back to the villa.

After a nice and long shower, Claudia emerged from the bathroom and looked out the balcony to find a large expanse of orange and gold surrounding the setting sun.

It was a breathtaking sight.

She snapped a photo of the view and uploaded it on Facebook with the caption, “Today's beauty."

After she tapped “post,” she headed downstairs to look for Bennett.

When she reached the first floor, she heard his voice before she saw him. He was talking to someone on the phone.
