Chapter: 907
“Sure.”
The two women planned to take the escalator from the sixth floor to the fourth floor. However, when they passed by the fifth floor, Claudia noticed a men's clothing store. She then remembered that whenever Bennett returned from business trips, he always brought her a gift.
She, on the other hand, had not given him anything except for the ring since they tied the knot.
The realization made her stop in her tracks,
Aurora was about to take the escalator to the fourth floor but stopped when she realized that Claudia was not following her.
She gave the woman a questioning look.
"Cece?"
She approached Claudia and followed her line of sight. She frowned when she saw the men's clothes store.
“What's wrong? Do you want to buy something there?"
Slowly, Claudia nodded.
“I just realized that I haven't given Bennett a gift since we got married, even though he always gave me things."
Right now, the urge to buy her husband something was so strong that it hurt.
Aurora, who became witness to Claudia's affection for Bennett once again, sighed helplessly.
“Well, go and buy him something, then."
“Can we go there?"
“Of course."
She might gain some experience picking out something for her future husband by going there.
After all, she would marry at some point.
With that, the two women entered the store together.
Truthfully, Claudia had never shopped for presents for someone of the opposite sex before, except for her father and her ex. It was simple to look for Jace's gifts because no matter what Claudia got him, he would be happy.
As for Anthony, only two of the presents she gave him were truly from her heart: one was a collectible watch, and the other was something she had made herself. He never cherished them, however. Even on their anniversary, his gift for her was clearly not something he had given any thought to. From that point on, she stopped giving him thoughtful gifts.
He did not care either way.
However, Bennett was different.
“Aurora, what do you consider to be a perfect gift?"
