Chapter: 923
Claudia sat down on the sofa and replied.
“I'm fine now. I just had some noodles."*
“That's good. Call me if you feel any sort of pain again, okay?"
"I will."
Claudia offered to end the call because she did not want to disturb his work.
Aurora sent her a message, saying that the more she considered the situation, the angrier she grew. She was thinking about going back to the restaurant to confront its staff.
Claudia asked, “Do you have your medical records?"
Aurora answered, “Yes. I underwent a lot of examinations in the hospital last night. I have all the printed results with me." Claudia recalled what she went through last night and grimaced. She had not had diarrhea that bad since she was a kid.
"Do you want to go there this afternoon?"
Since Aurora had requested time off today, she had time in the afternoon.
“Sure. Let's go there after lunch, I'll see you at two o'clock. Sounds good?"
"Okay."
After ending the call, she looked around for her own medical records. She then went online in search of the applicable laws they could use against the restaurant.
It was already twelve o'clock when she finished everything.
When she heard the sound of the car engine from the outside, she thought her ears were playing tricks on her. Therefore, she was surprised when she went downstairs and saw Bennett.
She blinked at him.
“Why are you home? Smiling at her, Bennett answered, “I was worried about you, Mrs. Dreskin.” Claudia blushed a little.
“I told you I'm fine now.”
She then told Bennett that she would go to the restaurant to confront them after Lunch,
"Do you want me to go with you?"
Claudia shook her head.
“No, thanks. Aurora and I can handle this ourselves
It was not like the owner of the restaurant could run away from them, If she failed to reach an agreement with them, she would simply contact the authorities.
She would not let them off the hook for serving spoiled food.
