Chapter: 933
It seemed she assumed wrong.

Aurora messaged Claudia seven times at around eleven o'clock yesterday night, saying the restaurant had contacted her and offered compensation in line with their demands.

The company Aurora worked for conducted offline operations yesterday, despite it being a Sunday,

However, she had to request time off in the afternoon to meet with the restaurant owner, but it was for naught.

Not only did they not reach any agreement, but the owner even accused her and Claudia of blackmailing him.

Now, he wanted to negotiate with them again. Aurora snorted. The restaurant owner must be delusional. She and Claudia were neither pushovers nor fools.

She knew that the restaurant owner would likely keep arguing with them had it not been for the fact that Claudia was famous as well as the Segarine Group and Bennett took their side.

If it had been any ordinary person making the complaint, the restaurant owner would have been able to successfully frame the customer for “blackmailing” him.

Claudia, after reading Aurora's message, replied, "The lawyer Bennett hired will be here at around nine o'clock. They'll probably receive the lawyer's letter at about ten."

Currently, it was only seven o'clock in the morning, so Claudia thought Aurora was not awake yet.

That was why she was surprised when she received a response shortly after she sent her message,

“Great! I would have requested the day off today if I hadn't already taken off yesterday afternoon. I also want to talk to the lawyer."

Claudia responded, "Don't worry. You'll get to meet them in court."

Aurora said, "You're right, baby. 0h, I can't wait to bring this to court. I'm still mad that we got falsely accused of blackmailing. Anyway, I have to get ready for work now."

Claudia put her phone down and turned to Bennett, who had gotten out of the shower.

“The restaurant owner called me and Aurora last night, but I didn't get it because I went to bed early."

Bennett frowned a little.

“Don't answer any calls from that restaurant from now on."

"I know." Claudia then blocked the number that called her last night.

Bennett went to work at half past eight. Meanwhile, Claudia changed her clothes and waited for the lawyer to arrive.

The lawyer showed up at the villa at nine o'clock sharp.

“Nice to meet you, Mrs. Dreskin. My name is Leif Wilde."

“Hello, Mr. Wilde."

Claudia showed Leif the request from Aurora when he inquired as to the nature of the problem and what she hoped to accomplish.
