After a few moments, their breathing slowed, and their bodies relaxed. Bennett gently withdrew his arm, which had been supporting her head, and whispered, "You should try to get some sleep." Then he sat up, preparing to get out of bed. Realizing his intentions, Claudia grabbed his left hand.
“We can try."
Bennett met Claudia's flushed face as she lay on the bed. The desire he had been controlling surged within him once again.
He averted his gaze and gently removed her hand.
“It's best we don't."
He paused and added, “I'm afraid you wouldn't be able to get on the plane tomorrow."
Claudia's eyes widened.

She looked at it and blinked.
"Is it for me?" Bennett walked over and handed her the water.
Claudia sat up in bed. She accepted the water gratefully, thanking him with a smile. Drinking more than half the glass, she placed it aside with contentment.
Bennett caressed her gently and turned off the nightlight.
“Let's sleep now, Claudia."
With the nightlight off, the room fell into darkness. Claudia turned to face him. In the blackness, she couldn't see anything.
However, after a few seconds, when her eyes had adjusted, she could vaguely make out his face.
smiling to herself, she felt content.
"I'm going to sleep. Good night."
“Good night," Bennett replied.
