Chapter: 1102
Suffice to say, it was a very tempting offer.
Everyone seriously considered it.
They were afraid that someone might speak up, and they wouldn't get the benefits being promised.
Everyone wanted to have a try.
"I'LL tell you." A young man spoke up as he stepped forward.
He was Josiah's student and the Lowest doctor among them.
He was just an intern.
As soon as he stepped forward, everyone looked at him.
They all gnashed their teeth as they shot hateful glares towards him. Even though they resented him for betraying them, deep down, they were actually jealous.
Isaac wasn't surprised. He had expected this outcome.
What surprised him was how easy it was for them to confess. They didn't even hesitate.
It was really true how if one was offered a great reward, they wouldn't be able to keep their word.
The only thing that mattered in this world was profit.
"Go ahead," Isaac urged as he sat on the chair and casually crossed his legs. He looked indifferently at the young doctor who had stepped forward.
Although he expected that someone would speak up in exchange for some profit, he still found it very hard to like a person who would sell out others for his own benefit.
The young doctor sank his head, avoiding the gazes of the colleagues he had left behind. All of them had eyes sharp as daggers, wanting to stab him endlessly if they could.
“Camila is still alive. Josiah used the body of a woman who was burned to death to fake her,” the young doctor confessed.
“Where is she now?" Isaac asked.
The young doctor raised his head and shook it hard. "I don't know. Josiah asked us to leave the operating room. Ever since, we haven't seen each other. So, we don’t know how and where she was sent out.” Isaac had thought that this young doctor knew a lot.
So, when he found out that he didn't, his face darkened.
“So none of you know it?" He cast a cold glance at the group of people behind the young doctor.
As soon as he did, they all felt a shiver down their spine that made them look down.
They only knew that Camila was still alive. However, they were clueless about her whereabouts. The only one who knew was Josiah.
Isaac snorted, unsatisfied with the answer he had gotten.
Josiah was a stubborn man.
