Annis held back her emotions, saying, "Thank you, dad."

She quickly scurried off to pack her belongings.

Josiah, still baffled, asked, "What's going on, Nelson?"

Nelson shot him a significant Look.

Josiah suddenly understood.

“You mean, she's in a relationship with ALick?"

"Shh. Keep that to yourself, no need to broadcast it like that." Josiah was simply too stunned.

Nelson glanced at his wristwatch and rose. "Let's get going!"

"Go where? Where are we going?"

Although Josiah was asking, his hands didn't pause in their movements of tidying up things.

"Isaac's plane Lands at six. We need to pick him up,"

Nelson clarified.

Josiah glanced at Nelson, asking, “Has the strain between you and Isaac eased?"

Nelson looked equally surprised. "I'm not sure why his attitude towards me softened."

Josiah pondered for a moment, then proposed, “Perhaps he saw something in Camila's possession that changed his perception of you."

Nelson let out a sigh.

“Truthfully, I'm grateful for his forgiveness." Back then, his decision to take Cathy away for his own interests resulted in Isaac being orphaned at a young age.

It was an unfair hardship for a child.

Yet, Isaac forgave Nelson, not only due to understanding Cathy's Love for Nelson.
