Camila closed her eyes and pretended to be asleep.

When Isaac received his meal, he urged Camila to eat. However, she ignored it and continued pretending to be asleep.

“Then you can eat when you feel hungry," Isaac remarked.

Harland approached and explained, “I need to examine the patient's wound."

Isaac stood by the bed, observing him intently.

Upon seeing Harland removing Camila's clothes, Isaac came forward to dress her.

Harland was at a loss for words.

He smiled and reassured, "I am a doctor. I won't do anything inappropriate."

Isaac paid no heed to his words.

“Even doctors can be wicked."

Camila found herself at a loss for words.

With a smile, she apologized to Harland and assured him, "I'm alright."

Harland also sensed Isaac's animosity. He advised Camila to take care of herself before leaving.

Camila was overwhelmed with embarrassment.

“Help me get discharged from the hospital."

Isaac gazed at her, questioning, “What are you doing? You haven't fully recovered yet."

"I can go home and recuperate. I'm a doctor, and I know what precautions to take. You need to assist me with the discharge procedures, so it doesn't raise suspicion or lead to unpleasant conversations."

Isaac suggested, “I can find a professional doctor to take care of you..."

“No. It wouldn't be convenient to have a stranger at home," she declined.
