Chapter: 1717
It was evident that she was generous and open-minded, qualities befitting a leader.
"Okay, I'll inform him immediately," the director said. Camila nodded and then returned to her tasks.
Hilaria hadn't approached Camila to seek forgiveness.
Whether Hilaria was avoiding her intentionally, Camila couldn't tell.
Since she didn't show up, Camila didn't dwell on it and just focused her work.
When the workday ended, she left without staying late.
She needed to go home and explain to Isaac that her decision wasn't a rejection of his assistance but a matter of professional differences.
As Camila changed her clothes and headed for the exit, Stevie hurried towards her.
Despite not being ill, he was an old man after all.
Running such a short distance already exhausted him and made him pant.
Yet, he still greeted her respectfully, "Mrs. Johnston."
Before Stevie could reveal his purpose, Camila interjected, "I've already said all I need to. Please, don't come to me again. I won't visit him."
Stevie, slightly out of breath, added, "Mr. Robin Johnston knows you won't visit him, so he has come to see you. He's waiting outside."
Hearing this, Camila's expression turned into a frown.
This was the second time he had stood in her way.
This was her workplace, after all.
If he kept showing up every day, how was she supposed to focus on her job?
Taking a deep breath, she firmly said, "Take me to him!"
She needed to set things straight with Robin.
She didn't want him dropping by all the time.
