Chapter: 1738
"You're welcome."

Her politeness left Hilaria feeling a bit embarrassed.

As Camila departed, Hyman trailed behind and suggested, "She shared the address as a kind gesture. Why don't you ask her to go with you?"

Before Camila could respond, Hilaria interjected, "You go ahead. I have some other matters to attend to. I'll make my way there."

In truth, Hilaria purposefully avoided accompanying Camila.

If they appeared together, it would become evident that she had leaked the information.

While Hyman remained oblivious, Camila understood the situation well.

Thus, she left with Hyman.

Hyman didn't overthink the situation.

"You're a bookworm," Camila remarked casually.

While he excelled academically, his lack of worldly wisdom was apparent.

Hyman remained unconvinced and said, “It's your fault. She's kind, but you don't appreciate it. No wonder people don't like you."

Camila found herself momentarily at a loss for words.

The situation struck her as speechless but amusing.

“From now on, just follow me," she said.

Hyman sneered. "I don't want to follow you. If it weren't for the director threatening me, do you think I'd willingly be your assistant?"

Camila asked with curiosity, "How did the director threaten you?"

"He said if I don't work as your assistant, he'd fire me," Hyman complained.

“Didn't you say you don't care whether you would be fired or not?"

Hyman hesitated for a moment, then admitted, "The director mentioned how hard I worked to pass the examination. If I left, it would be a letdown to my master's teaching. I can't disappoint my master."
