Chapter: 1789
Clearly, the director had a keen eye for talent.
He wouldn't have selected Camila otherwise.
As Camila was finishing up with the wounds, she gave Hyman an address and instructed him, "Get some medicine and deliver it there today."
Hyman responded promptly, “Sure, I'm on it right away.”
Once everything was in order, Camila and the driver headed back.
"You should take a break at home," she suggested to the driver.
"Mrs. Johnston, they're after you. It's not safe for you to leave," the driver cautioned.
Camila replied firmly, “I'm not going to wander aimlessly. I need to check if Alick has located them."
Her concern was palpable. Staying home would only heighten her anxiety.
First, she called Alick to pinpoint his location.
Then, she set off in her car.
Upon arrival, she learned Alick had already reviewed the surveillance footage and spotted the car.
He was close to tracking them down.
“I'm coming with you."
Alick hesitated, preferring she didn't, but knowing time was of the essence, he relented and let her into the car.
A notification buzzed through their surveillance system. Following the directions, they drove the car accordingly.
They were driving farther and farther away.
Three hours had passed since the incident occurred.
Eventually, they reached an area beyond the reach of the surveillance cameras.
ALL information seemed to vanish.
