Chapter: 1803
The scar-faced guy was left speechless.

They had to give it to the lone ranger of a driver-they underestimated his skills.

"He's a pro bodyguard. He knows his stuff."

"Now that you're aware, don't belittle your opponent anymore," the man cautioned. "Stay put in this room. The Internet and TV are at your disposal. Kill time with your phone or watch TV. When it's safe, I'll swing by to get you out.”

"We'll follow your lead. But how long do we have to wait?" the scar-faced guy inquired.

"No set time. Hang tight for my signal. Chow and drink are on the house. Staying a bit longer won't hurt. Safety's the top priority."

"Alright." Their lives mattered to them.

They had to toe the line with the masked man.

Dealing with cash, they had a responsible boss. Safety came first, and they better appreciate that.

As for the masked man, he did so merely because he didn't want these guys to be caught and confess their mastermind to the police or others.

Knowing Isaac's ways, he'd surely sniff out clues from this bunch.

The act of opting to hide out in this specific place, without any discernible evidence of their presence seemed to be the most astute move for their current situation.

Annis wasn't in a good place mentally.

Camila's words got her all worked up, and now she was lost in a daze.

Concerned for Annis, Camila decided to ease her with a tranquilizer.

Once Annis dozed off, Camila stepped out, dialing Alick.

The phone connected instantly. "Get over here," she said.

A swift response came from the man.

Alick walked in, immediately inquiring about Annis.

Camila didn't hold back. "She's not doing well. I tranquilized her for some rest," she informed.
