Chapter: 1842
Blushing, Camila sidestepped the question.

Isaac leaned in again. "Do you want me to prove it to you once more?"

Camila nearly blurted out, "No."

She cleared her throat. "Focus on driving," she redirected, sitting upright.

Isaac smiled and continued steering the car ahead.

Ding-dong.

Suddenly, Camila's phone chimed with a message notification.

She retrieved her phone and opened the message. It read. "Let's meet at the Blue Sky Café tomorrow."

Camila stared at the message and furrowed her brow, puzzled. The sender's identity was a mystery, and the number was unfamiliar.

"What's the matter?" Isaac asked, noticing her perplexed expression as he glanced across at her.

“It's a message. Someone wants to meet me, but I don't know who it is or recognize the number."

Isaac frowned. "Then don't go."

At that instant, Camila's phone alerted her with another message!

Camila clicked the screen with a frown. The message glared back at her. “If you don't agree to see me, I will come to your workplace to find you." The words seemed to carry a threat.

“What does it say this time?" Isaac inquired.

She bit her lip, pondering over the identity of the sender. There was no one she could think of who would send such a message.

Certainly not Harland, who had recently broken his leg and was out of the question. The sender's identity remained a mystery.

"He says he'll come to my workplace if I don't meet with him."

Camila's voice carried a trace of unease. The thought of being pursued unsettled her, tingling her senses with the anticipation of unforeseen events.

“I'll stay with you when you go to work tomorrow," Isaac offered.
