Chapter: 1872
Isaac was leaving soon, and he likely hadn't eaten.

While heating the milk, Camila fried some eggs.

When Isaac came downstairs, she happened to be done cooking.

Setting the milk and eggs on the table, she urged him, “Have something before you go."

Isaac dropped by.

When the butler moved to pull the chair, Camila chimed in, “Let me handle that. You're off the hook."

The butler was sensible enough to exit.

Camila then took charge, easing the chair for him.

Isaac settled in as she hovered behind. “I whipped this up. Give it a try. I'm not much of a chef, as you know.”

"Gotcha."

She was always rushing out the door for work every morning.

Usually, Glenda handled breakfast.

And after they ate, they headed out to work separately.

Isaac dug into the fried egg first, respecting her effort.

It was a basic egg and not quite up to Glenda's standard.

But to him, it tasted surprisingly good.

With her hand on his shoulder, Camila hugged him from behind, asking softly, "How's it taste?"

Isaac nodded in approval.

Camila reminded him, "You have to eat breakfast, no matter how busy. It's not good to skip it, you know?"

Isaac turned to her, grasping her hand. "I get it."
