Chapter: 1890
She quickly lightened her mood, picked up a shrimp, and savored it slowly. "It's delicious. You should try some," she said, extending a piece towards Isaac.
Isaac moved closer to her ear. "Feed me."
Camila blinked and glanced at the utensils in her hand, realizing she was indeed feeding him.
She asked with a hint of innocence, “Aren't I already feeding you?"
A subtle smile played across Isaac's eyes as they deepened. “Let me teach you."
He bit into the shrimp, then presented it towards Camila's mouth.
Camila's eyes widened.
He gave her the shrimp directly from his mouth.
She blushed a bit but tried to maintain her composure. "That was your saliva."
Isaac let out a soft laugh.
"Are we heading out tomorrow then?" She shifted the conversation deliberately.
Isaac said, “I've coordinated everything with Willie. We rest tonight and leave for Faymoor tomorrow, then head straight back from there."
Camila nodded and said, "Okay."
As she rose to her feet, Isaac pulled her into an embrace. "Let me hug you."
Camila pulled away. "I'd rather not."
She headed back to the room first, with Isaac trailing behind.
Together, they tumbled onto the soft bed.
"Mila," Isaac said in a serious tone.
Camila glanced upward. "Yes?"
Isaac snuggled closer. “I'm so glad you're here with me this time."
