Chapter: 1992
"It's not about whether you'll conflict with him. It's about whether he's willing to let you off the hook!" Hyman kept trying to convince her. "You should really keep your distance from him."
Camila was already in a sour mood because of this whole situation, and Hyman's hesitance only irritated her further. "Just give it to me already. Enough talk!"
Hyman was rarely on the receiving end of Camila's anger, so her outburst left him stunned.
After a moment, he composed himself and, without another word, he sent her the phone number.
Knowing that Hyman was compassionate, Camila explained, “If I just hide, it won't solve anything. He sued me, so I need to face him"
“Do you want me to come with you? I'm worried he might lash out,"
Hyman asked cautiously.
"No, thank you," Camila replied.
She wasn't alone. She had Eagle with her.
"Okay," said Hyman.
After hanging up, Camila immediately checked the phone number and dialed it.
The call was quickly answered.
"Hello?"
The voice was weary from the other side, likely worn out from the recent events involving Kameron.
"I'm Camila. I want to see you," she stated.
Tyrese on the other end paused, taken aback, then sneered, “Now you want to talk to me? What were you doing earlier? I'm not seeing you. If you have something to say, talk to the judge." With that, he hung up.
Holding the phone, Camila stared at the screen and took a deep breath before dialing the number again.
The call was picked up after a moment, and Tyrese was obviously irritated. “What are you doing? I told you I'm not meeting with you! Go to the judge."
He had quite a strong demeanor.
“Maybe you got me wrong. I just want to clear things up..." Camila spoke gently.
