Chapter: 1994
“Have you got a smirk on your face?" Camila quizzed, eyeing him.

Quick to clarify, Eagle responded, "No, I am just trying to lend a hand."

“I was just pulling your leg," Camila said with a grin.

Eagle found himself at a loss for words.

Armed with the address of Kameron's home, Camila opted to approach his wife, figuring she might be more receptive than their son.

Surely, there had to be some reason in that family.

She passed the address to Eagle, who wasted no time in starting the car.

After a while, they arrived at their destination.

Camila asked Eagle to accompany her, uncertain if she'd be welcomed solo.

With Kameron laid up in the hospital, his fate uncertain, she couldn't predict the reception.

Ding!

She pressed the doorbell.

“How dare you show your face here?"

A man's voice snapped from behind. Camila could tell it was Tyrese without even looking. She stiffened and turned, saying, "I'm here for your mom."

"My mom's collapsed, in the hospital. She's not here. Don't you know that?"

Tyrese's eyes widened but seeing Eagle, he toned down his aggression a notch.

Eagle gave off this intense vibe, which totally freaked out Tyrese.

Camila almost forgot about it.

It seemed like she'd heard about it from him before.

"Since we're both here, why not sit down and chat calmly?"
