Chapter: 2095
Laura answered, "Not in a hurry. I want to wait until your situation is completely resolved before I go. Otherwise, I won't feel at ease."
Rowena set a plate of sliced fruits in front of Laura, saying, "Pregnant ladies should have more fruits. They're great for the baby's skin.”
Laura smiled and agreed, “Okay.”
Rowena held her hand and said, “It's great that you're married now and expecting a child."
Laura just smiled in response.
Turning to Morrison, Rowena said, “Laura is a wonderful girl. You must treat her well. If you ever betray her, I'll be the first one to deal with you. Even though her mother is gone and her father isn't responsible, you should never underestimate her. Both Mila and I are her family; we'll always support her."
Morrison understood why Laura, despite being heavily pregnant, came back to assist Camila.
Their relationship appeared to be truly exceptional.
He felt grateful that Laura had such supportive friends.
With a smile, he assured, "Rowena, don't worry. If I ever betray her, you can come and scold me; I won't argue."
Rowena nodded, saying, “I'll keep that in mind."
Laura felt a lump in her throat; this should have been a joyful moment, yet tears threatened to spill.
She tried to hold them back, forcing a smile.
Rowena gently patted her head, saying, “You three talk."
Then she went inside.
Bowen woke up.
Bowen didn't enjoy staying indoors all the time.
Rowena fed him and then took him outside in the stroller to play.
Glenda went along as well.
Morrison asked, “Do you have two sons?"
