Camila said with a smile.

Laura nodded, feeling a lot better.

Finally, the dinner was ready.

They went inside and almost filled the seats in the long dining table.

Fortunately, the dining area was spacious enough to house them all in.

The food was scrumptious, thanks to Glenda.

Happy to see everyone enjoy the lovely dinner, Camila proposed for a toast.

Because some couldn't drink alcohol, they raised their glasses of juice and water.

After the toast, Camila's phone rang.

She took it out and frowned after seeing who was calling.

After hesitating for a moment, she answered in a low voice, “What's the matter?"

Paying no attention to her question, Forrest questioned, "Do you have Laura with you?"

Camila stood up and left the dining room. "Forrest, please don't start any trouble."

“I'm not looking to cause trouble. If I had wanted to do something, I would've done it back at the hotel, not now. You know Laura and that man are close. Even if I tried, I couldn't change that. So why are you so worried?"

"Yes, I am worried. Laura is pregnant. I'm scared you might harm her or disturb her peace..."

“Laura is with you, isn't she? I'm coming over now." Forrest cut in abruptly.

Camila frowned. "Forrest, please..." The call ended with a beep.

She tried calling back immediately, but Forrest didn't pick up.

Anxious and with no other options, she turned to Laura to discuss their next steps.

Camila sent a message to Laura, “Forrest is on his way."
